Terms and Conditions for Next Day Clean Customers

1. Introduction

Welcome to Next Day Clean. By booking our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully to ensure a clear understanding of our mutual obligations.

2. Booking and Confirmation

  • Scheduling: All bookings are subject to availability. We recommend scheduling services at least 24 hours in advance to secure your preferred time slot.

  • Confirmation: A booking is considered confirmed once you have paid a 50% deposit. We will then send a confirmation email or message from us detailing the service date, time and scope. The remainder of payment can be made via cash or bank transfer.

3. Service Scope and Time Allocation

  • Standard Services: Our cleaning services include tasks outlined in the service agreement or as discussed during booking.

  • Time Estimates: All time estimates provided are based on the information given at the time of booking. If the property requires more extensive cleaning than initially indicated, additional time and charges may be necessary to achieve our quality standards.

4. Customer Obligations

  • Property Condition: To ensure accurate time estimates and efficient service, please provide truthful information about the property's condition and, if possible, supply recent photographs.

  • Access: Ensure that our cleaning team has unobstructed access to the property at the scheduled time. Failure to provide access will result in payment of the service booked.

  • Parking: Please note, if free secure parking is not available, parking charges will be invoiced additionally to the customer.

5. Pricing and Payment

  • Rates: Our pricing is based on either hourly/ per job rates, as specified during booking.

  • Additional Charges: If the cleaning extends beyond the estimated time due to unforeseen conditions such as the condition of the property requiring additional attention - additional charges will apply. We will communicate any changes before proceeding.

  • Payment Terms: Payments are due upon completion of the service. We accept bank transfers.

    • A standard 10% commission fee is added to all bookings made via agents or third-party services.

    • This fee is in addition to the quoted cleaning service cost and covers admin, communication handling, and relationship management provided to the agent.

6. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Notice Period: Please provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made within less than 24 hours' notice will incur a cancellation fee.

  • Rescheduling: We will make every effort to accommodate rescheduling requests, subject to availability.

7. Satisfaction Guarantee

  • If you are dissatisfied with our service, please contact us within 24 hours of the cleaning with reasoning. We will address your concerns promptly, which may include a re-clean or other appropriate remedies.

8. Liability

  • Damages: While we take utmost care in delivering our services, we are not liable for pre-existing damages or conditions that may be exacerbated during cleaning. Please inform us of any fragile or valuable items requiring special attention or cleaning products.

  • Unforeseen Circumstances: We are not responsible for delays or failures in service due to circumstances beyond our control, such as severe weather or accidents.

9. Confidentiality

Any personal information you provide will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We will not share your information with third parties without your consent.

10. Cleaning equipment

Residential cleans will need vacuums and mops provided due to hygiene reasons.

If a property does not have a toilet brush for a residential clean, we will have to invoice a toilet brush to be used in order to be able to clean the toilet.

11. Biohazard Policy

  • Our cleaners are not equipped or insured to handle hazardous or unsafe environments. This includes, but is not limited to:

    • Presence of bodily fluids (e.g., blood, urine, vomit, feces including from animals)

    • Needles or sharps

    • Mold infestations

    • Infestations (e.g., mice, bedbugs, cockroaches, carpet pests)

    • Hoarding situations

  • If cleaners encounter biohazard conditions, the clean will be halted immediately, and the customer will still be charged for the full service.

  • For such cases, we recommend using a specialist biohazard cleaning service. If you’re unsure, please send us photos prior to the visit so we can advise appropriately.

12. Photos & Reviews

We may share before/after photos of cleaning work completed and without disclosing any identifying personal information.

If you'd like us to remove a post or image that features your property, please email us at info@nextdayclean.co.uk and we’ll action it within 72 hours.

If you tag @nextdayclean or use our branded hashtag (e.g. #NextDayClean), you give us permission to repost or share your content on our platforms, with credit.

13. Amendments:

Next Day Clean reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to clients and will take effect immediately upon notification.
